Each of these techniques can be used alone or together for each case and treatment. I always use the ones that will be most useful in the patient's home.

Global Postural Reeducation (RPG) was created in 1981, in France.

It is a very effective manual therapeutic method in the treatment of morphological and postural problems, joint injuries, respiratory diseases, rheumatic pathologies, traumas and neurological sequelae.

One of the principles in this treatment is to identify and stretch the muscles responsible for postural changes.

Cardiac prevention and rehabilitation

Combination of methods and techniques for maintaining and improving the physical, psychological and social condition of patients with some level of functional limitation or disability related to cardiovascular diseases (myocardial infarction, coronary heart disease, heart failure, valve disease, congenital heart disease and disease of the arteries and veins).

Using physical exercises and stretching, the method uses your own body weight.

Pilates retrains movement, working the entire body in search ofphysical and mental balance, using smooth and continuous movements focused on concentration, strengthening and stabilizing muscles.

EPM Fasciatherapy
applied to Dystrophy
Humeral Scapular Facio:

FractureIt ism Branch
of Pubis
November 2015

Mrs. RSC, 66 years old, with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy since 1997, presented with a fracture in the ramus of the pubis on the right, where she could barely walk due to the great pain in the region of the fracture. Presence of Osteoporosis.

Medical diagnostic:fracture of the pubic ramus with improvement expected within 4 months.

Fasciatherapy and Perceptive Movement Education were carried out using the Danis Bois and Sohier Method, treatment in dorsal decubitus and lateral decubitus.

First day: Decubitus contralateral to the fracture: footprints of the sacroiliac, hip bones, quadriceps, gluteus medius, piriformis, iliopsoas and in the left lateral decubitus position: mobilization of the sacrospinous, sacrotuberous and posterior sacroiliac ligaments.

The entire sequence was carried out in2nd day of treatment already in the right lateral decubitus position (lateral decubitus next to the fracture), however, with the presence of pain when changing position.

From the 3rd day the RSC patient felt that the pain was already reduced and we were able to treat it more easily, without complaints of pain.

With these mobilizations, circulation was improved with a great local drainage effect and at a distance from the fracture.

The treatment progressed until I no longer felt pain with EPM and Sohier Fasciatherapy treatment and we were able to perform exercises in a sitting position, progressing to a standing position, using Sensory Gymnastics (another form of EPM Fasciatherapy treatment), always respecting its limitations.

In twenty days patient RSC underwent an X-ray and the consolidation of the fracture was verified, originally expected to take 4 months.

This case allows us to affirm that EPM Fasciatherapy can be an effective ally in cases of fracture where it is not possible to place a plaster cast and immobilize the region, in addition to cases in which conventional physiotherapy is contraindicated due to limitations or risk to the patient, such as osteopenia, osteoporosis or muscular orthopedic, neurological, or rheumatological problems.

This case study was recommended and monitored by Dr. Physiatrist Marcelo El Khouri

Treatment with Fasciatherapy and Perceptive Movement Education (EPM)

Anal fistula
Danis Bois Method

Patient PRR, 31 years old, had a three-centimeter perianal fistula on the posterior median anal verge, undergoing surgery to drain and remove it.

7 days post surgery, PRR presented pain when evacuating, sensitivity and increased pain in the region with local edema.

A session lasting approximately one hour of Fasciatherapy and Perceptive Movement Education, Danis Bois Method, was carried out with application of therapy to the trunk, anterior and posterior pelvis, in addition to the lower limbs, also aiming at body drainage, as there was local edema.

Seven days after, patient PRR reported that the treatment session with Fasciatherapy and EPM enabled better and faster rehabilitation with less pain and complaints and greater relaxation in the anal region after this single intervention.

Through this case study we were able to observe the positive effect of applying manual therapy Fasciatherapy and Perceptual Movement Education, Danis Bois Method in cases of pelvic pain in the anal region.

Effect of Fasciatherapy and Perceptual Movement Education on
post patient
prostate AC,
DM2 and nocturia

Patient AT, male, born on 12/16/1931, now 87 years old, Type 2 Diabetes since 2004. Takes medications (Diamicron, Metformin, children's AAS, De Pura, Aradois, Omeprazole , Vitalux Plus, Casopt, Fresh Tears Carmelese, Galvus, Citoneurin, Atorvastatin, Retemic).

Presence of prostate CA and it took a few years for radiotherapy to become necessary in 2014 for 42 days, with the exception of Saturdays and Sundays, where he felt unwell and very unwell.

2 years ago (2017) the nocturia became more pronounced where I woke up every 40 minutes and urinated 5 to 6 times a night.

At the beginning of treatment with Fasciatherapy, patient AT complained of very cold arms and nocturia andafter 3 treatments all these complaints ceased to exist.

Today, wakes up 1 to 2 times a night and no longer feels cold in the upper limbs. The normal thing for an elderly person over 70 years of age is to wake up twice a night, concluding that they are in normal conditions for an elderly person.

I report that as my first patient with nocturia was I worked the whole body, as it presents pain in the lower back and a lot of joint and myofascial stiffness, and thatin the 3rd session I modified treatment and we achieved improvement in this 3rd session.

Conclusion:Treatment for nocturia after prostate cancer radiotherapy in an individual with DM2 with fasciatherapy showed great improvement.
